A Collection of African sculpture from several
prominent east coast collectors will open at Tall Grass Arts
Association in Park Forest, IL, on January 20 and continue through
March 18, 2012
The reception will be held on Friday, February 3, 7-9 p.m. The
exhibition and its accompanying catalog present the sculpture in
thematic and stylistic art clusters, accompanied by photo wall murals.
The scope ranges from Neolithic through the 20th century. The catalog
discusses aspects of African Art that have largely been ignored in
previous publications and presentations of African
Art.
